Spicy Baked Rosa pasta

Rosa Sauce is a blend of Marinara as well as Alfredo sauce, Hence it is both creamy and tangy. I have used some Chilli Flakes to make it a tad bit Spicy. Use any Pasta, Vegetable or meat of your choice. This sauce also goes especially well with seafood.

Although you could use store-bought sauces, I would recommend making them at home. I have shared the links to my homemade Marinara and Alfredo Sauce recipes in the NOTES**.

 INGREDIENTS

250gms Pasta

2 Cups Homemade Marinara Sauce **

1 Cup Homemade Alfredo Sauce**

200 gms Spicy Chicken Sausage, Sliced

200 gms Mushroom, Cut In Half

1 Cup Broccoli, Chopped Into Bite Size Pieces

125gms Grated Mozzarella Cheese

2-3 tbs Chilli Flakes

1-2 tbs Butter

Salt To Taste

                             The Spicy Rosa Sauce

METHOD

  • Cook the pasta according to packet instructions and set aside.
  • In a bowl combine the Marinara and Alfredo sauce. Check for seasoning.
  • In a vessel heat butter and fry the sausages and vegetables. Season with salt
  • Add the mixed sauce and bring to a boil. Add the chilli flakes.
  • If the sauce is too thick add some water.
  • Mix in the boiled pasta.
  • Now transfer the pasta into a baking dish and top with the grated cheese.
